The aim of the project is the rehabilitation of the strength of O Castro (municipality of O Barco de Valdeorras), declared of Cultural Interest (BIC) with the category of Monument on 17 November 1994.

The project consists of:

• The consolidation and enhancement of the tower - Fortress and the North Wall
• The creation of an overlook of the valley of the Sil inside the Tower
• Redesigning the urban environment through actions that serve as benchmarks for the rest of the interventions made ​​in the core of O Castro

Action arises as a first phase in a series of interventions in O Castro, whose objective is the enhancement of the historic center and the historical and archaeological study of it.
